Your future is not mine. To celebrate the new global campaign of adidas Originals in Brazil, we invited young innovators to think about what the reality of São Paulo will be like in 2050. The Future Gallery brought together visual artists, 3D world developers, stylists, and musicians to create immersive installations in an open gallery for two weekends in Praça Roosevelt in São Paulo.
In an urban exploration environment, the adidas community was invited to explore, shape, and celebrate their own future. The installations collided multiple dystopian environments and merged with the beats of the city's most effervescent music collectives. From the reconstructed virtual reality of downtown São Paulo in 2050, a green wall in symbiosis with projections of city residents, to a narcissistic kaleidoscope inspired by the global film.
The gallery created a cultural destination that had widespread media coverage and generated mini documentaries about the creators' visions of the future.
